Welcome to the First Breakfast Event - at least I know of... and a Friendly Get Together to start the week off right. But..... there's a few problems however to reach this home and place of the event.
Time: 6am to 9am — just a few hours.. on a Monday morning. Yes, it’s early but evenings are full and weekends are also busy for some of us ..
Parking will be interesting.. If you are in the first 2 cars, you can park in the driveway but others might need to find a place on the street without blocking driveways and mailboxes. Since the place is in a cove, street parking close to GZ is very limited. You might have to park on a nearby street and hike to 114 Kenswick Court.
Then the drive in and later leaving.... well, South Montgomery Street is known for serious traffic issues. Then Highway 12 still has construction going on... Drive with your lights on and think about using Poor House Road when you leave.. and if you get here around 6am, that will help with driving in ... but if you come in at 8, ...well good luck.
The home is at the end of the cove. Leave your shoes at the door so make sure your socks dont have any holes...
There will be fresh eggs from a friend’s yard, toast with real butter, oatmeal with dried fruit and nuts. Also juice, coffee and hot tea. I will see about having some ice for those who want cold tea.
