This is the long overdue and much awaited Clapham Wood series, part two! The route is slightly different from before. It's a little shorter and with fewer caches, but there are other caches that you'll pass on the way if you've not done them already.
The woods are best enjoyed in spring when the bluebells are out, or in early summer when the place is teeming with wild flowers, birds, butterfly's and bees.
If you've not checked out the route before you set off, I should warn you…….
there is a very small stretch that is next to a busy main road. If you have any disobedient dogs, children, husbands or wives, please exercise caution. I hope that the route I have selected more than makes up for it.
Also, some of the paths may get a little muddy in winter so if you do it then please come prepared. Around these parts, all roads lead to loam! Also bear in mind that the church car park closes at sunset, so after dark caching is not advisable!
The caches are all meant to be found although CW13 may not be as straightforward as the rest! Those who know my modus operandi will know to read the cache description for a subtle pointer or two! But who, ever reads the cache description?
Most of the containers are 60ml screwtop, plus a couple of small caches for trackables should you bring any to drop.
Have fun and enjoy!
