The idea for this cache came up when my friend Urban and I was discussing our different hobbies and geocaching. From there it took quite some time to figure out the bits and bytes that goes in to it. One of the hardest part was to find a simple solution for the geocachers to figure out the address, a captive portal if you want, but it was too hard to solve so I had to add it to the title. For this cache I literally ripped apart my old laptop for it's power, studied the sun, broke a chisel, used a laser, played with acid, and a lot more.
You may see the AP before you get to GZ but you will not find the cache without the right address. You then need a connection with AP before you can put in the address. Said that, I suggest you figure out the address and how you open a dialog with AP before you head out to GZ. The physical cache is within 300 feet from GZ
Important Note:
The AP at GZ is a sleepy one but so predictable that you can set your clock after him. He spend 8 hours in deep sleep every night and don't get up until 7AM when his RTC wakes him up. And you know how it is in deep sleep, you turn all your senses off and don’t reply to any calls. Worth to know is that there are some shadow areas around GZ so the AP may not response to your connection attempts. Move around a little, make a new attempt to see him. I have found that AP seems to response slightly better south of GZ at N33 09.273 W117 17.015 so that could be an option if you struggle with that part.
I think this cache is unique and it was really fun to develop. You will need a smartphone or a tablet to solve the cache.
