This cache has been placed close to the start of the Evans Gully Trail. Parking should be at the college parking lot just South of the cache.
This trail system is well maintained, and loops down Evans Gully to the San Jacinto River and back up the other side (wet crossing), several adjacent trails link other trails and back to the River again. The trails are suitable for Hiking, Biking, and Bird watching and Geocaching. The area is swampy in late fall and early spring, this area should be avoided, following heavy rain. There are several elevated walkway extending into the cypress/palmetto swamp along the North Evans Gully Trail.
