We've been finding caches for years and we finally are hiding our first. We are a local family with 4 kids and recently have started painting rocks as part of the Bend Rocks kindness rock movement. At this cache you will find fun painted rocks that we have made. You are welcome to leave things in the cache other than painted rocks but mostly this cache will have painted rocks. I ask people limit taking one rock per person. If you really like it, feel free to keep it, otherwise please hide our rocks in public places for others to find and spread joy. If you wish you can post a picture of the rock you find/take/rehide and post it to the Bend Rocks facebook page or the online visitors log for this cache. I hope this cache brings many smiles to many faces!
This cach is located just off of a public trail connecting Ponderosa park and surrounding neighborhoods. It's part of a trail that in grand scale connects Larkspurk park all the way north to Pilot Butte if you can manage your way through the trail as it changes from sidewalks along roads to obvious trail systems. Be careful on the rocks when looking for this cache. The coordinates should be pretty right on as we used three different gps machines to verify accuracy.
