Geocache Description:

In April 2010 Mean was published, and a growing chaos ensued. As anyone who was caching back then can attest, over the next week, it seemed the entire caching community was flocking to the site attempting to find it. There were 30 DNF logs posted prior to the first find, and many dozens more visits and repeat-visits not posted (if you want some fun reading, go back and read the first logs). Then, after almost a week, in dramatic fashion the light bulb went on for two separate people who had become daily visitors. Atacm (now known as Cat-Jam) got an epic FTF with Hale-Storm just an hour or so behind her. Crazy times.

Since then I've been mostly in a good mood, and my caches have been "Nice" . Well, then it happened. I woke up in a bad mood the other day. Sigh... and just like that, this cache was born. You should probably avoid this cache. I warned you 8 years ago, so I'll warn you again. There has to be an easy cache around somewhere that you can grab. Surely there are plenty of other things you can do with your time. However, the good news is that if you insist on coming out here to look for this cache, it will bring you to a pleasant location. If nothing else I hope you enjoy this nice area.

This is a 2-part multi cache. Sorry to those who enjoy brute-forcing, but the final is not around here, so unless you've been following my car around town and know where to drive to, don't waste your time, you'll need to find WP1 to complete this one. You can do it!

Please log your visits whether they are finds or DNF's. Although I'm probably underestimating the skilled local cachers and perhaps you'll make quick work of this. Once the cache is found I will give a hint to anyone who DNFs and asks. FTF will get their name on this page for all eternity, and the honor of being FTF.

Congrats to the group of 10 who conquered this together, which included MacCrew, TheTilleyHat, Striving4Camelot, ttomw, Chilehead, P6P, Spooko13, Wandering Buck, Determined Doe & Merida66!
