Eddington is a new district located 2km northwest of the city centre of Cambridge. As well as providing accommodation for University students and workers, it is filled with beautiful flowers and open grassy areas. The Eddington Explorers geocache series is a set of 8 fun geocaches suitable for all ages.
This is the 5th in the series, and is the largest of the series. It is accessed by a paved public foot path and the geocache is easily accessible 24/7. As with many of the other caches, wheelchairs and pushchairs will be able to get within a few metres on the path, but to retrieve the cache itself requires stepping off the path. It contains a few swappables and so is suitable for children.
As you pass the cricket pitch if you look to the south you may be able to make out the site of an archeological dig that revealed a roman villa.
