Inkyfiller was a great man, passionate about his family, birdwatching, and of course geocaching. There was a time he had found pretty much every geocache in eastern Ontario- it was around that time he formed a list of the cache owners in the area to start a conversation, and see what we can do if we work together. That was how GEO formed, making a scene with the first SNCITO event and forming a strong cooperative relationship with South Nation Conservation.
We lost Ian (Inky) to cancer in 2016, just shy of his 65th birthday. He is remembered by family and friends in many ways. One such way was the Ian Mitchell Memorial fund. This fund was used to create and install two Ian memorial benches; one at Two Creeks Conservation Area, and the other here at Reveler Conservation Area.
This event takes place at the bench on the Reveler property from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday July 7. All are welcome, whether you knew Inky or not! Please log your will attend.
