Ainulindalë - Music of the Ainur Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Fogie_Knight: I tried to replace the cache today when I was downtown visiting my office, but there were at least a dozen muggle cars/trucks surrounding GZ and a bunch of people. I am going to go ahead and archive this with the hope I can come back with a slightly revised version that is less susceptible to being muggled. This is too great a place to be without a geocache.

Geocache Description:

“It is said by the Eldar that in water there lives yet the echo of the Music of the Ainur more than in any substance that is in this Earth; and many of the Children of Ilúvatar hearken still unsated to the voices of the Sea, and yet know not for what they listen.”

--- J.R.R. Tolkien, The Silmarillion

This is one of my favorite views of the Milwaukee harbor.

Because this cache has been muggled several times, I have had to reduce its size in the hopes that it will be able to last longer. The cache is now a magnetic key holder. You will need to bring your own writing utensil.

The cache location has been approved by Brian Russart of the Milwaukee County Department of Parks. Permit # 569.

Congratulations to SgtCoz on the FTF!
