On the opposite side of the road to this cache, stands the old Ruislip Parish Workhouse. It was Grade II listed in February 1974, and today is a substantial private residence. A stone plaque above the door dates the building to 1789 although Historic England thinks it looks older than that date. The current owners have obviously spent a lot of money on the property and from the roadside it looks to be in excellent shape. This cache is a nano and you will need to bring a pen and tweezers along with you. The road is busy so take care and be aware of the traffic
