The Geocache
A small black bison.
The Hall
Our village hall is very spacious, modern, warm, has an excellent store of furniture (including 'comfortable' chairs!), a large projector screen, WIFI, a large fully-fitted kitchen and WC facilities. The community defibrillator is housed under the external porch of the village hall and is available for use by parishioners in the case of life-saving emergencies. The hall is used for a wide range of organised local activities and clubs and can be hired for private functions. Within the hall there is also a meeting room where the Parish Council holds its monthly meetings.
Access
The adjacent Village Hall car park is usually locked when the Hall is not in use. Parking can be found on the lane or around the Village Green on the opposite side of the road.
The Settlement
The village of Little Dewchurch is on the Hoarwithy Road from Hereford to Ross via Hoarwithy, signposted from the mini-roundabout on the Holme Lacy Road in Putson, approximately 6 miles south of Hereford centre. The church is sign-posted from the Village Green. The history of the village suggests that in medieval times the village was located adjacent to the church and the old road from Hereford to Ross and Monmouth. This road followed the route of the present footpath running north/south across Sunnybank.
