Geocache Description:

Our Beautiful Dale Hollow Lake is a playground for young and old....Now Kids can play too! Our Geocache goal is designed Just For Kids...We want to make their visit to Dale Hollow a Fun and Positive Learning experience. All of our caches are easy to find and have interesting treasures, found objects, mostly gifts from Mother Nature with simple explanations of what they are...

Each child takes a treasure home and a Child's metal for finding the cache...Please sign the log book!!

Close to a very narrow PassThru on County Line Island on the Ashburn Creek side. There are two dead trees....one with branches...one with only woodpecker holes......Look for Mr. Piliated's home!!!! Park by the these trees....walk into the shadows below....close to the earth....safe in the roots of another old man!!! Egg shells to lead the way....You'll find a treasure can you guess what these are???

These feel like plastic......But are not....They are made of Keretin, just like our finger nails!! Just as we grow bigger, TURTLES do too....Their shells grow and the skin like coverings falloff. This covering is called Scutes....Have one to take home...

PLEASE post when objects are found so we can update the system and place new objects in their place...Thanks
