Mori Mori Japanese Shrine Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

kooooky: The physical container has broken in half. At this, I no longer want to replace it for a third tims. Thanks to all who found it. No trackables inside. Container removed. It also looks like birds may have used pieces of it for their nests (little beads and string).

Geocache Description:

My inspiration to make this cache stemmed from my first journey to Japan a few years ago. Some of the most peaceful and serene moments in my life have been in Kyoto, Japan, wandering through the rock gardens and visiting the temples. I've been reading about the genius of Japanese carpentry lately too. Their technique and approach to building has inspired me. And I present the Mori Mori Japanese Shrine.

Do not approach from the Valley Ridge Golf Course from the South. Those roads are closed to the public. I would personally recommend the walk from Bowness park and through the woods along the river (walking under Stoney Trail Bridge). It's a little bit longer but it's an incredible walk and feels like you're hiking through Banff National Park (or maybe a Japanese forest). You will not need to bushwhack to get to this geocache.
