Make sure you have a full tank of gas, food and water. There is really bad cell reception out here so make sure you download the caches to your offline list before coming. Enjoy the beauty of this area and make sure you practice CITO.
There are a lot of horseback riders in this area so please slow down when passing them. Some roads are pretty narrow so watch for that California pin stripping. We hid them driving a small SUV and all roads were passable at that time. Each winter brings change so use caution while driving.
