It's about the journey not the cache – well maybe it is, for some.
This series will take you along the cycle track from Pelican Park to Swansea Caravan Park showing off quite a few of the attractive features of Lake Macquarie and the Swansea channel. Along the way you will need to collect 6 numbers to solve the location of the final cache. A=?, B=?, C=?, D=?, E=?, F=?
A little while back we wanted some bison tubes for caches. We ordered a few online from the US but the seller made a shipping error and now we have a herd of bison tubes. What shall we do with them? Bison are migratory so we thought we should set up a "Bison Migration Trail". So this series of caches will, for the most part, consist of bison tubes. They may naked or they may be camouflaged. There are a couple of nanos and some Systema type containers thrown in as well. Bring a pen. As a keen cacher you always carry one and a spare, right?
This is NOT a power trail. Some caches may be easy, some may take a while, so don't expect a series of park and grabs.
This trail is a route we cycle along regularly so we may meet up, you never know.
