Geocache Description:

From Wikipedia

The phrase Rest In Peace , from Latin: Requiescat in pace (Classical Latin: [re.kʷiˈeːs.kat ɪn ˈpaːke], Ecclesiastical Latin: [re.kwiˈɛs.kat in ˈpa.tʃe])) is used in traditional Christian services and prayers, such as in the Anglican, Lutheran,[1] Methodist, [2] and Roman Catholic [3] denominations, sometimes to wish the soul of a decedent eternal rest and peace in Christ.

It became ubiquitous on headstones in the 18th century, and is widely used today when mentioning someones death.

RIP. This cache has been placed for friends and family who have lost someone dear to them. Please leave a favourite life story or convo between you and your departed friend or family member. This is NOT a necessity or prerequisite to claim this cache. The departed person does NOT have to be a cacher. Lets get started I will start....Bob was my friend. In 2007 I started geocaching while I was living in St Albert. One of the first local events I signed up for was at the Legion to celebrate LV`s (ahem) 39th birthday. I was unfortunately not able to make it due to work. My wife and daughter however did make it. All they talked about was the great Hosts Bob and Joanelle. We know them as teamViper. RIP Bob. The best day we ever had caching together was recently just down the road from this cache. You will be missed.
