Quantum of Solace” was filmed in London, England; Siena & Talamone Italy; Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Bregenz, Autstria; La Paz Bolivia; Kazan Russia and Pinewood Studios.

“Quantum of Solace” was the last in Ford Motor's three-picture contract.  The other two 007 films were “Die Another Day” and “Casino Royale” (2006).  Ford Motor Company had an one hundred million dollar deal for exclusive vehicle product-placement rights. 

Daniel Craig was injured at least three times during the making of “Quantum of Solace”. The most prominent ones included an injury to his face, which required four stitches; another to his shoulder, which required six surgical screws to be inserted in an operation; and then his hand was injured when one of his fingertips was sliced off.

The scene in which Miss Fields is found laying across a bed drowned in crude oils is similar to the “Goldfinger” film which Jill dies from her body covered in gold paint.

“Quantum of Solace” is the twenty-second official Bond film and is the second to star
Daniel Craig as James Bond, 007.
