This cache is located on the Summit of Blueberry Mountain. Blueberry Mountain is a very nice climb with a lot of outstanding different outlooks towards the mountains in Vermont, Mt. Moosilauke, Black Mountain, and south towards Mt.Carr, Mt. Cardigain, and Mt. Cube/Smarts Mountain. The gate to Long Pond Road is often closed but it is well worth the extra 3/4 of a mile for the views and the limited number of people. The cache can also be reached from the west from Blueberry Mountain Road (But this way has less outlooks and is longer).
A great turn-around point from the Long Pond Road trailhead is the ledge a quater of a mile past the summit spur path on the westerly side.
