This cache has been placed where the old, low level bridge crosses near the head of the waters of the Wollomombi River, previously call Rockvale Creek. (The name change causing much dissatification with the locals!). Ultimately the river flows over the well known Wollomombi Falls, a 260metre plunge of water you might like to visit later. Many country roads in the region continue to have low level timber crossings causing difficulties in wet times. Be mindful of nearby surrounding property and potential muggles. Note there is no mobile phone service in the immediate area.
Addit February 2020 Since placing this cache in June 2018 a new concrete girder bridge has replaced the classic low level water crossing. Unfortunately the character of the area has changed but the cache remains insitu.
