The Nidderdale Way is an excellent circular walk travelling through many different villages and valleys etc.
This is my regular running route and dog walk and I am excited to share this wonderful area with you.
There is sheep farming on this particular area so please take care with your dogs, the woodland is also managed for a local shoot.
After travelling behind several small wooded areas above the river Nidd you will find that you pop out as the valley opens and bends away to the north west towards the Scar House resevoir.
You will see a troubled tree that hasnt fared well againt the storms of time...
