Geocache Description:

It was an ordinary day at the Avalon Ranch. Farmer Jim was tending his horses as usual. He has been looking after horses ever since he could walk. On one particular day Farmer Jim returned to the stables to find all of his horses had gone missing! "Dangnabbit, where's my horses?". Farmer Jim began to panic as he paced back and forth relentlessly along the trail. This kind of monstrosity has never occured at Avalon Ranch for hundreds of years. Fortunately, Farmer Jim's luck had not run out yet. A small child was casually walking in the shade up ahead. "Hey you little girl, seen any horses around lately?". "Nope" replied a small squeaky voice from the bushes. "Really?" sighed Farmer Jim. "I'm Rosie, I like horses too". "Can you help me?". "Sure mister, anything for the horses". So they set off down the trail in search of the missing horses. They came to a fork on the edge of the wide path. "I say we head East" replied Farmer Jim. So they headed East along the side of a babbling brook. Farmer Jim had a sense of determination on his face. Rosie just kept her composure and followed him deeper into the wilderness. "We must be getting close" whispered Farmer Jim. "I'm tired" groaned Rosie. "Shh.. keep your voice down missy" whispered Farmer Jim. "look" he coughed again. Rosie peered out from behind a rhododendron bush. "Up ahead" he gestured. Rosie squinted at the horizon. "Whats that?". "Fuzzy Wuzzy". Now only 10 feet in front of them stood a mama black bear and 2 cubs behind her. Rosie gazed in bewilderment at the obstacle in front of them. "Rosie, get behind me now". Rosie did as she was told. Farmer Jim stood up as tall as he could and started grunting and growling at the bear. "Rawr...Grr...Hey...Bear". The bear slowly began to lower its gaze on the 2 travellers. After some more awkward grunting and growling the bears decended back into the brush. "Don't come back" Farmer Jim chanted in a victorious tone. "Thanks mister". "I'm just glad she didn't get ya" An hour passed since the close encounter with Death, the 2 weary travellers sat down on a log. Farmer Jim had a secret stash he could use to round up the horses. "C'mon, we need to keep moving". Rosie nodded and followed Farmer Jim. The 2 travellers knew they could use the contents within Farmer Jim's stash to help them find the horses. So they set off in wonder if Farmer Jim would ever see his horses before it's too late.
