Crandell Park is a 432-acre parcel, making it Eaton County's newest, largest park. It also contains Eaton County's largest lake, at just under 160 acres with depths up to 35 feet.
The park is open to the public for passive recreational use as an undeveloped natural area with a carry in-carry out policy. Perfect for practicing your CITO (Cache in, Trash Out). Park hours are 8 AM to Dusk.
Dogs are allowed, as long as they are on a maximum 6 foot leash. (Carry Out includes pet waste).
This cache is located near the designated parking lot off M-50, just west of Stewart Road. It is not necessary to enter the park, although, it is recommended, to check out the park after you make the find. The park is beautiful.
