This cache is down at the old Burwell port - once the start of the trade route betwen Burwell and beyond, via the network of Lodes that criss cross the Fens. A pleasant mile or so walk along the edge of the Lode (past a wrecked hovercraft, a box factory and a high likelyhood of spotting deer in the fields) is the wonderful Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve, with wildlife galore and a whole load more caches! The cache itself is away from the Lode itself...you dont need to head down the slope to the water's edge to find it
