Wellington has a number of scenic side and back roads. This regular (almost large) sized geocache highlights one of them.
This is one in a series of geocaches highlighting the beautiful landscapes surrounding Wellington. Remember to always take care on country roads. It can be easy to forget you are not the only driving this road as you don't see others passing often.
There is plenty of room to pull off the road near the cache. If heading North along the road, on your way to the cache take note of the rocks to the right of the creek crossing and the tree roots to the left. If you are heading South, check it out after the cache - rocks to left and tree roots to right. I thought it was an interesting crossing worth highlighting with a nearby geocache.
