.UA: Є в Києві загадкові місця, які зазвичай називають «місцями сили». Сергієва пустинь – одне з таких місць. Засновником цієї «лісової церкви» є Сергій Борисов. Можливо Вам пощастить зустріти Сергія в цьому місці. Обов’язково спробуйте поговорити з ним. На мене він справляє враження людини, яка добре відчуває свою місію та слідує їй. Цікавим є, наприклад, його трактування походження слова «Голосієво». Вважається, що назва місцевості походить від «засіяти голе місце». Сергій вважає, що саме ця місцевість підходить для «Голос Бога сіяти».
EN: Here I quote the description of this awesome place from the old cache.
“The Golosievsky Forest is situated between the National Exhibition Center and the boroughs of Pirogovo, Korchevate and Mishelovka (literally: mousetrap :). In the very center of the forest there is a hidden Christian worshiping site known as "Sergieva Pustyn" (meant to be the Monastery of St.Sergiy, though it is not a monastery yet). The forest is well maintained, many trails are crisscrossing it and one could generally pass through it with no much effort. You have to have a sharp sight and pay attention to the surroundings to notice the place of the "Monastery" as it is easy to pass it by without noticing. The Sergieva Pustyn exists for about 8 years. It was built by an ex-priest Sergiy Borisov who grew disappointed with the modern policies of the Orthodox Christian church, believing that the Church itself is not necessary to communicate with God. Thereby he had build this place. This is essentially an open-air shrine built around the tall tree, with some altar and improvised rostrum. The surroundings are kept well clean and nice. The priest used to inhabit the self-dug cave nearby until it recently collapsed but he sill keeps the icons there and prays.”
