Geocache Description:

This rock promontory is the most seaward point you must pass at Punta Gorda. In fact it can be impassable at the highest tides. A few steps off the “trail” which follows the beach on this section of the Lost Coast Trail is a small cave in the elbow of this hook-shaped rock formation.

The Plano (camlock) container is in a crevice next to— but not in— the cave. (We took two separate averaged waypoints and neither seemed very accurate, but coordinates should get you within 70 feet and you’ll know where to go from there!)
No PO near cache itself but plenty along parts of the trail.

FTF lapel pin (or tie tack, we suppose...) for first Finder!

Please re-hide well!
