This section of the Lost Coast Trail has numerous sections of old fenceline, and other wooden structures, delineating former grazing areas and the patches around some privately-owned cabins.
We aren’t sure exactly what the host structure’s purpose was, but this burly sentinel seems to be keeping a lonely watch over this low coastal bluff.
Retrieving the cache might be a bit of a stretch for some cachers, but there is a natural-material step already on site. No tall vegetation or PO at GZ but there are ticks and plenty of the Evil vine along the trail.
