The colonial era brick Garbage Burner Chimney which stands about 8 metres high still looks rock solid after all these years. In the simple life of the good old days, a small burner like this is enough to cater to the needs of the village. Rubbish is poured in from the upper hole while ashes and other items like metal parts which cannot be burned would be removed from either one of the two (2) lower holes. There is supposed to be steps to get up there and a platform for the workers to stand while feeding the rubbish into the chimney to burn. The metal doors to these 3 openings are missing.
