FIN: Karilan uusi silta valmistui joulukuussa 2017. Se korvasi vanhan riippusillan Äkäsjoen yli Karilan tilan kohdalla. Työkalu ei ole pakollinen, mutta voi helpottaa purkin noutoa ja palautusta. Olethan varovainen kätköä etsiessäsi, erityisesti talvella. Kesällä joki on syvimmillään vain n. 1 metrin sillan kohdalla. Talvella virtaus voi aiheuttaa heikon jääpeiteen.
Huolehdi, ettei kätkö jää täysin näkyviin ja sulje kansi kunnolla. Palautus on osa löytöä, joten hoidathan senkin kunnolla. NÄKÖYHTEYS EI RIITÄ LÖYDÖKSI.
Kätköpaikalle voi saapua kesällä pyörällä tai kävellen hyväkuntoista maastopyöräily- ja vaellusreittiä pitkin, ja talvella hiihtolatua ja lumikenkäilyreittiä. Muistathan, ettei hiihtoladulla saa kävellä. Ladun vieressä kulkee lumikenkäilyreitti, jota saa käyttää.
HUOM! Autolla lähimmäksi pääsee Karilantietä pitkin Navettagallerian parkkipaikalle, ÄLÄ jätä autoa mökin pihaan tai yksityistien reunaan.
ENG: The new bridge over Äkäsjoki by Karila was completed in late 2017. It replaced the much smaller suspension bridge over the river. A tool is not necessary but may make the retrieving and returning of the cache easier. Please be careful while looking for the cache. In the summer the river is at the deepest in the middle, about one meter. The current may cause weak ice in the winter.
Make sure you put the cache back to its hide as well as you can and close the lid properly. Returning the cache to its hide is part of the find. JUST SEEING THE CACHE DOES NOT COUNT AS A FIND.
The best route to the cache is in summer by bike or hike on the marked trails and in winter by the ski or snowshoeing trails. Please do not walk on the skiing trail. Use the snowshoeing trail next to it instead.
NOTE: By car, please take Karilantie road to the Navettagalleria marked parking place and follow the marked trail to the bridge. Please do NOT use the private roads.
