Geocache Description:

Welcome to Robert Riddell State Park and the Mud Lake Trail! This series of caches is an out and back hike of approximately 5 miles. The trail takes you past scenic falls and then around Mud Lake which is surrounded by a very scenic bog. All caches are hidden within sight of the trail. This spot is interesting as we found many rock piles scattered around the area. We hypothesized where they may have come from. My thought is a long time ago a bunch of trees were uprooted in this rocky area and over time the trees decayed and left behind thes rock piles. What are your thoughts? Cache is a 30 cal ammo can and not winter friendly.
