Medbring lygte,
-for vi mødes inde i den store ammunitionsbunker i Stilling Nord - og der er buldermørkt.
Hvis alt går efter planen, vil vi udgive en serie geocacher af mange forskellige typer, alle over temaet Fanø i Atlantvolden.
Fanø var et af de stærkest befæstede områder i Atlantvolden med over 300 bunkere på den kun 56km2 store ø. Det har vist sig stort set umuligt at fjerne dem, så øen lever med dem på godt og ondt.
Som indfødt fannik har jeg lyst til at vise dette skønne sted frem, men også at fortælle lidt historie bag Fanøs liv i Atlantvolden. Serien af cacher vil blive en rejse tilbage i tiden hvor vi følger en række fiktive personers liv under besættelsen. Selvom både personer og begivenheder er fiktive, har de afsæt i virkelige personer og begivenheder.
Vi håber at I har lyst til at komme og opleve denne skønne ø og få nogle spændende geocaching oplevelser.

Would you like to take a trip back in history?
Would you like to enjoy the unique scenery of Fanø?

Would you like to meet with a bunch of fun and crazy geocachers?
Come to our event on Fanø
Saturday September 1st at 10-12am or all weekend if you wish.
Bring your torch,
-as we meet in a big ammunition bunker in Stilling Nord – and it is pitch black in there.
If everything goes according to plan, we will release a series of geocaches of many different types, all on the same topic, Fanø in the Atlantic Wall.
Fanø was one of the heaviest fortified areas in the Atlantic Wall, with more than 300 bunkers on its only 56km2 land. It has proven to be almost impossible to remove them, so they are part of island life for good and bad.
As a fannik (born and raised on Fanø) I would like to show you this wonderful place, but also to tell you about the history of Fanø as part of the Atlantic Wall. The series of caches will be a journey back in time. We will follow a group of fictional characters lives during the occupation. Even though both persons and events are fictional, it is based on real life persons and events.
We hope that you would like to come and experience this beautiful island and have some exciting geocaching adventures.
