Urban style hide at a small park.
In the late 1960s, as construction of the northside Edens Expressway drew to a close, the City of Chicago's Department of Public Works sought to create a new park on state land adjacent to an on-ramp in the Forest Glen neighborhood. In 1975, the freeway park was officially named in honor of Anthony J. DeJulio , a former park district employee who served as Director of Recreation for many years.
