Taiwan's strategic location is quite important militarily. Thefore, you can find an abundance of military outposts, strongholds, and bunkers along the hundreds of kilometers of shoreline here. Many of these army structures are no longer used, especially on the smaller outlying islands like Matsu.
These abandoned bunkers bring back warm childhood memories for me, memories of building and playing in tree houses and secret forts. Now that I'm an adult geocacher, that thrill comes back every time I look in spooky, secret places for that geo treasure. Hence, the Love ❤️ in the title.
This cache is hidden in the entrance to bunker number AAZ020405. It is a small plastic Lock-n-Lock covered by stones.
