Danbg: I guess it’s time to put this CITO to bed. Thanks to those that showed up to help and worked hard at the park. I think we accomplished what we set out to do. When Lost River Annie (The nature center director) and my (go to person) saw what we accomplished she said, and I quote “Wow, just wow!!!” Maybe the weather will be better next time. Again thanks to everyone that helped 😊

Geocache Description:


Please come join The Lost River Cave and fellow geocachers and help clean out some invasive plants at Lost River. The event is scheduled from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. The meeting place will be at Lost River Cave’s Nature Center. It’s the house across the street with the big sign across Cave Mill Road from the bark park. You could also go to the posted coords. Gloves and basic garden tools will be provided but if you have some gardening hand tool please feel free to bring them. I will try to have ice water provided for the participants. We will be cleaning out the clutter around the blue hole #1 this year. It’s a little past the Lost spring if you’re walking away from The Nature Center. If you come from the welcome center it is a 1/2 mile hike one way. These events at the cave have been a lot of fun in the past. Now for the good stuff. All participants will receive a boat river cave tour/boat ride pass. Now for the legal junk. All participants must sign a liability release form and anyone under 18 must have a guardian sign for them. If anyone wants to do the usual noon Ci Cis lunch I will be there. I am expecting some new LRC coins and the first 5 (will attends) logs that attend will receive one.
