Wells of all shapes and sizes can be found in Cyprus, some believed to be the oldest in the world dating back to the Stone Age.
More modern examples are popular in parks and gardens and this one is the sixth in the series.
The location of this cache is in a small garden area overlooking the valley and the village of Agros.
Here you will find the Rose Water Factory and traditional sweet makers as well as many walking trails.
We discovered this well on a visit to Potamitissa to check on our series of caches there.
There are a couple of benches behind the well, but facing out across the valley. Still care needs to be taken if they are occupied.
Parking is available either outside the supermarket on the opposite side of the road, or in a small lay-by nearby.
The cache is now a film canister containing only a log so please bring your own pen.
The container is not located on or in the well itself but within 1 metre. Please do not dismantle any walls or groups of stones.
