03 Satellite - Stick People Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Pink Action: Devastatingly, this series must be archived. I was just contacted today by David Brown (blackrattle) who is the current Councillor in District 6 in Queens County. He just told me that the old Teleglobe site has been sold and there are people onsite doing demolition and remediation. They are soon to be dynamiting the old satellite bases. Just super depressing. This was one of the great old ghost towns of Nova Scotia. Howver, on the other hand, I have been really sad that a site that had so much potential for a small area went away. Maybe this means that something more will be coming to this wonderful area. I hope so. It is one of my favourite areas in Nova Scotia. Thanks to everyone who found the caches here. It was my pleasure to introduce everyone to the area and it's history. Thanks also to Sherry Fillmore (part of Stick People) for helping me produce this series. Hopefully there will be new secret hideaways to discover soon.

TeamHalifax would like to dedicate this cache to Stick People, who spearhead the Nova Riddlers, and helped us, not only on this series, but in many other aspects of geocaching, and have been just a wonderful fountain of knowledge for tons of geocaching information. (And for providing the cutest satellite background graphics for these cache pages.)
