This cache is located at one of the oldest churches in Hamilton County.
History: The need of a church was recognized at the Lake Pleasant Town meeting in 1830 and again in 1834 when land, donated by Stephen Perkins, was acquired. Construction of this simple meeting house began in 1840 but completion of the building was not recorded until 1855. In 1891, the meeting house was torn down and the present church building was constructed. It was incorporated in May 1894 and Rev.J.N.Wooster was its first pastor. an addition was added and to serve as classrooms.
