Geocache Description:


Before being diagnosed with Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer) in August 2009 and eventually succumbing to the cancer in November 2009 , Driftdog enjoyed geocaching with his wife of 28 years Plain Jane. They started geocaching in 2006 and enjoyed spending time together going on these treasure hunts.

Driftdog lived the majority of his life in the Rockford/Cedar Springs area; and is now resting at Blythefield Memory Gardens nearby this cache planted in his memory.

This geocache was placed by Wild Weidmans along with Plain Jane during a 2018 summer vacation visit with family. Wild Weidmans used to live in Lowell, MI before moving to Southern California and later North Carolina. We still enjoy caching with our mom/grandma Plain Jane when we visit.
