Geocache Description:

Geocache Description:

A medium geocache located in a quiet apartment complex area in Groton. A pet-friendly stop if you are bringing a leashed dog along on your geocache adventures. (Please note that cleaning up after your dog is expected and stands are located on site).

Welcome to Groton!

This location seemed to be the perfect place for me to rise up from the ashes from one point in my life to start anew. I loved the quiet of the dog-friendly location and the views of the lovely green in the center of the property (and around it). It feels like a neighborhood to me, not a complex. I wanted more to discover this delightful oasis hidden at the top of Long Hill Road.  I found renewed inspiration for art here and you will discover ATCs in my cache to share my love of art (and geocaching) in my own way.  If you walk your leashed dog at this location, you will find cleanup stations are located on the premises.  Please be respectful of the neighbors and watch for full-grown muggles and their dogs when exploring. Placed with permission from the owner and the office manager. (The speed limit is 5; parking is available close to coordinates.)

About ATCs:

ATCs are Artist Trading Cards, tiny little masterpieces that are traded with other ATC artists from around the world. From a crafter’s point of view, they are a wonderful way to experiment with new materials, art techniques, and use up leftover bits from other crafts and activities. There are wonderful ways to reuse and recycle using collage or found items while meeting new people near and far. I would be delighted to trade ATCs with anyone through the cache and will continue to add more as they disappear or appear. More information on ATCs is tucked in with each card for anyone interested in learning more. Please be sure to tightly close the caches boxes to keep out any moisture.
