Cache is located near a popular source of water for some people who appreciate some nice, fresh spring water. The water isn't tested, so those who collect it do so at their own risk.
I remember years ago being on a hike with Pathfinders out in central Newfoundland when we came across a similar spring. We were hot and thirsty, and were quite eager to drink the sparkling, cold water. Of course, when our leaders caught up to us, were were told we shouldn't drink it without putting those terrible tablets in it. Yuck! I'm glad we drank it before they caught up to us. I think it was the best water I've ever tasted!
You won't need to get wet to get this smiley. The container is only nearby the spring. You may even be able to grab the cache without being seen by someone collecting their sparkling nectar.
