"It's the 24th of May and we likes to get away....." Middle Three Island Pond is a popular pond for water activities such as boating, kayaking, pond side cook-ups and of course trouting. This is a favorite spot for our family to come for a "quick flick" since it's so close to our home in the Town of Torbay and very easy to launch a small boat from the shore. The road that leads to the pond, conveniently named after the pond itself, is in great shape and leads to a little parking area by the boat launch.
From the area of the boat launch, travel to the cache by boat during the summer or by snowmobile/foot during the winter as you "trout about." You will be looking for a medium sized container, wrapped in "pawsitively" colorful duct tape just "hanging around" the shoreline.
NOTE: there have been many DNF with this series over the last couple of winters and although hidden to be winter friendly and adjustments made in height to accommodate for this , these may or may not be accessible in winter depending on snowfall.
