The Destler and Johnson Quad was dedicated to former RIT President Bill Destler and Dr. Rebecca Johnson in 2017. It is located between Sustainability Institute Hall, Engineering Technology Hall, and Louise Slaughter Hall. Under President Destler, the College of Health Sciences & Technology and the School for Interactive Games & Media were formed, the RIT Dubai campus and a secondary RIT Croatia campus were opened, 10 new buildings were constructed, 3 new Ph.D programs were created, the first Imagine RIT festival was held, and RIT became one of the first universities to establish an undergraduate program in computing security.
