The Eleven Point River flows past here, as do the many people that come here to start, end or continue their kayak or canoe adventure.
The scenery is beautiful! There is a day use area with tables and grills, currently there is No Day Use fee. Bonus. So come spend the day and have lunch. The river is open for fishing if you have a license. Next to the day use is a campground, if you want spend the night. Fees for Greer Crossing Recreation Area Campground are $10 per single and $15 per double campsite/ night- as of the publishing date of this cache, therefore subject to change- and are paid at the fee tube.
The Geocache is in the sign at the Ozark Trail Head. Look behind the sign and up in the center. It's a magnetic altoids tin containing a log, pencil and national forest stickers. Please replace as found *** Be cautious as there is evidence of wasp activity in the corner of the sign.***
