Join Parks Conservancy staff in Emerald View Park for group volunteer events! At stewardship events, a small group of volunteers (typically five to 15) better the health of the park by cutting vines, pulling invasive plants, caring for restoration trees and clearing trash. Projects vary by season. Tools, gloves, and training are provided. The event on Tuesday, September 25th will take place from 5-7 PM and will meet at the George Washington/Chief Guyasuta statue on the corner of W Grandview Ave and Sweetbriar. Please register for this event before the 09/25/2018 so that the Parks Conservancy can bring the appropriate amount of clean-up supplies https://www.pittsburghparks.org/park-events. There should be a fair amount of pay parking in designated spots and lots nearby as well as free parking in residential areas, please make sure you check signage before parking your car!
