Geocache Description:

This lookout is situated above the “White Cliffs” - the name by which this settlement was originally known. The name of a local sand hill, “Merebin” was subsequently adopted and mistakenly registered as “Merbein”.

The pump on display here, constructed by Thompson and Co. at Castlemaine in 1914, was operated in the district until 1959.

Cache contains log book, pen and some swaps.
