Autocesta A1 - 13 Tunnels to the north Multi-Cache

First of all: this cache can not be completed by foot or by bike. You need a motorway compatible vehicle.

While driving on the Autocesta A1 from the Adriatic Coast to Zagreb, you have to pass no less than thirteen tunnels of different lengths before reaching Zagreb.

So that the trip to the north is not so boring and the driver earned a little break after the 13 tunnels, we remembered a Multi from Austria and decided to give you the same fun here along the A1. And of course on the way back south too.

The tunnels you have to pass are:

Ledenik
Sveti Rok
Krpani
Varošina
Medina Gora
Grič
Plasina
Brekik
Brinje
Mala Kapela
Sv. Marko

In front of each tunnel you can find a sign on the right side with the name and the length of the tunnel. The task to solve this multi is to determine the respective lengths of the tunnels. Note the length and build the cross sum (sum af all single digits) of each tunnel. Example: if the length is 472m, the cross sum is 4+7+2=13.

As the speed limit in the area in front of and in the tunnels is 100 km/h, the determination of the values should not be a problem.

After the last tunnel make a break at the rest area Draganić South (see waypoint), where you can calculate the final coordinates and at least find the cache.

To check your results or if you miss one tunnel sign, we give you the sum of all lengths, it's 19.416m. The sum of all cross sums is 174.

The above coordinates are the starting point of the tour in front of the first tunnel. The final is about 200 motorway kilometers heading north.

Attention: some of the tunnel lengths are different in the respective directions and can not be compared with each other. And if you try to check the tunnel lengths on Google Street View, some of the lengths there are also different to reality.
