This cemetery i discovered after reading about some of the history on the orphan trains coming through fremont county, ia. If you get a chance to do some of your own research it is an interesting happening of events that took place here. Please respect the cemetery and cache only during daylight hours. It is on public hunting ground but there are neighbors nearby. There is parking available and you must walk a short distance to get to where you need to go. If you continue to walk passed the cemetery there is a decent size lake on the other side of the hill/timber. There is a path from what looks to be an old road that you can follow. It proves to be much easier than trying to cut thru the the timber. This place is very peaceful and a good spot to fish. Due to the tall grass and lots of wildlife i recommend wearing jeans and again, during daylight hours. Thank you!! Have fun!
