Geocache Description:

The Sun is Shining is #3 of 4 letterbox caches on the Snapper Loop and was hidden in time for the first Gananoque Two Rivers Trails Festival. The cache can be found right on, under, the trail about 50 paces past the little side path to the rocks on the waters edge. The stamp and ink pad should not be removed - it’s for letterboxing! Please use a blank piece of paper we’ve supplied to stamp if you haven’t brought your own Geocache or letterboxing journal. There are also some collectables from the town an the TD Summer Reading Club run by over 2,000 libraries across Canada including Gananoque Public Library who maintains this cache.

This trail is dedicated to the memory of John Cornish who was a member of our town’s Trees and Trails Committee who passed away while leading a hike on the trail in 2017. He was a valued member of the community who was involved in many parts of it.
