I couldn't make my USCGA (Upstate South Carolina Geocaching Association) meetup for International Geocaching Day, due to a scheduled family vacation, so... it was suggested that I create my own! I need some recommendations for good geocaches in the area, and would love to meet some new friends in our geocaching community!
The plan is to meet at Bakehouse Charleston from 10-11am for a mid-morning coffee and brunch meetup. I spoke with them this morning, and they can accommodate smaller groups. I don't have the budget to buy everyone's coffee and breakfast (sorry), so bring enough cash to buy yourself breakfast, if you wish. You are not required to purchase anything at Bakehouse. If there are too many customers in the store, or if our smaller group becomes a bigger group, we'll walk a block to Riverfront Park to enjoy the rest of the meetup. Lots of benches and beautiful scenery there.
I will bring my trackables, in case anyone wants to discover them, and will pick some up to head back to the Upstate, as well. Come get your International Geocaching Day souvenir and hang out with some new friends!
