Magicland Geocache.
This cache was inspired by our 2010 trip around the circuit.
Our paddle team consisted of myself along with my trekking buddy daughter Sarah, daughter Megan, sister Celia and nephew Martin aka Evinrude. As it came to be... our favourite camp site on the entire trip happened to be campsite 25. Nicknamed by "team Awesome" MAGICLAND. We arrived early afternoon on a beautiful day of paddling after drying out all our gear at Wolverine cove from the night before. We began our routine of preparing camp and getting ready for cooking dinner when we became aware this site was in fact special. The sky was clear blue, the view down Isaac Lake was stunning, the sun was setting, the air warm, the lake inviting... We all went for a swim and then proceeded to enjoy a remarkable sunset. We did manage to eat supper as we watched the sun set and the moon rise and the stars come out. TRULY MAGICAL. Hence the cache name.
8 years later, here we are again remembering the AWESOME trip we had. I am blessed to be joined by my trekking daughter Sarah and her man Dave. I knew early in trip planning we needed to place a cache here. We tried to make the cache items Magical so there are Magical glow sticks, a Magical fishing lure, a truly Magical rubber duck, some Magical towels, a Magical key chain, a Magical boot lace, a Magical light, and a Magical bottle opener. And of course a bottle of Magical bug repellent. Please enjoy all the goodies. Take/use what you need and I hope you have a great trip. Don't forget to log the cache when you get home.
